What we collect

We only collect information we need to respond to you and to carry out building work. Depending on how you deal with us, that may include:

• Enquiry details you give us through our website form: your name, email address, phone number, the service you’re interested in, approximate budget, timeframe, design stage, and any project details you choose to share.
• Guide or download requests: your name and email address when you ask us to send a resource such as our renovation cost guide.
• Correspondence: information you provide when you phone, email, or message us.
• Project information: if you engage us, the site address, plans, and other details needed to quote and build your project.
• Technical information: our website host records standard server information such as your IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking on this website.

We don’t collect sensitive information (such as health information) through this website, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you — through our website form, by phone, by email, or in person. Some information is collected automatically through the essential cookies and security tools described below. If you contact us on behalf of someone else, please make sure they’re happy for you to share their details.

• To manage your project, including working with sub-contractors, suppliers, certifiers, councils, and insurers where relevant.

• To send you a resource you asked for, and — only if you’ve asked or agreed — the occasional practical update. You can opt out at any time.

Cookies and third-party services

This website uses a small number of essential cookies to work properly and to keep our enquiry form secure. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies. To provide the site we rely on the following third parties, who may process limited information (such as your IP address) on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, security, and the “Turnstile” anti-spam check on our form.
• Google Fonts — to display the site’s typefaces.
• Elfsight / Instagram — we embed an Instagram feed on our home page. Viewing it may set cookies controlled by Instagram (Meta) under their own privacy policy.
• Our email and enquiry system — to receive and reply to your enquiry.
• Jack construction management software — to manage enquiries, quotes, and projects.

Some of these providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information or share it for anyone else’s marketing. We only disclose it where needed to do our job, or where the law requires — for example to:

• the software and service providers listed above who help us run our business;

• a court, regulator, or other body where we’re required or authorised by law.

If we send you updates, every message includes a way to opt out, and we’ll action your request promptly. You can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing [email protected].
